Got domain name?

As the 2016 political season starts out of the gate, what a politician considers his or her domain is not always so.

For instance, "if you went looking for more information after Ted Cruz's presidential campaign announcement this week, you would have found a surprise at TedCruz.com: "SUPPORT PRESIDENT OBAMA," the large font on the site reads. "IMMIGRATION REFORM NOW." Cruz, the senator from Texas, doesn't own TedCruz.com. Ted Cruz, an Arizona lawyer, does, the magazine Mother Jones reports, leaving candidate Cruz to settle for TedCruz.org. The digital mishap is the latest example of campaign domain squatting — when opponents, fans, namesakes and other enterprising spirits snatch up Web addresses relevant to candidates." ~ Reported by USATODAY.COM
