New 'G' logo: More 'G' change

As a member of the boomer generation, actually a relic from the age of 'hot metal' composition and manual typewriters, I have witnessed nearly six decades of corporate logo changes, so the latest edition of the Google logo neither amazes nor disturbs me, butt that apparently isn't so for others.
