Davos, site of the World 2016 Economic Forumis a town in the Swiss Alps, within the canton of Graubünden. It’s a popular winter sports resort with a conference center that hosts the economic forum.

According to reports, the so-called fourth industrial revolution, following on from the introduction of steam power, electricity and electronics, will have less of an impact on developed economies. Emerging markets – notably in parts of Latin America and India – will suffer when artificial intelligence and robots become widely used, reducing the competitive advantage of their cheap labor.
